My expectations are so high for Revis that I'm disappointed when he allows any catch. That said, I realize that will happen and he's still top 3 at his position.
In other AFCE news: either the Bills or Dolphins will drop to 1-2 after their head to head next week, one will be 2-1. The Patriots are 2-0 with games against the Jags and Cowboys sans Dez and Romo next up.
Just got update ty Hilton will play. Damn. Hopefully Revis gets his ass on the island and doesn't let him off
It's all about Williams tonight, i'm expecting him to make Lucks night very uncomfortable with tons of pressure all night long. The Colts defense looks old and slow and I doubt their. Ol will be able to keep Luck upright for most of the game, I think out dl will wreck havoc and have a better game then last week!
Maybe because I am tired of getting my hopes up and land back on earth hard but I tried to keep my excitement at a minimum today unsuccesfully. Only 4 hours and 18 minutes to go and I am ready to rock the world. Bring on the stinking Colts.
At a minimum I am hoping for a competitive game that goes down to the wire, and for the Jets to play clean smart ball. Don't get blown out. Don't make dumbass mistakes. That's all I want. Show us you are heading in the right direction, improving every week. A win would be icing on the cake.
Hate to say it but I could see the Pats going 16-0. It's a slim chance but I think it's there. They destroyed the Steelers, who killed the 49ers yesterday, and they made a mockery of the Bills defense on the road, a supposed elite unit. Last time Brady played pissed off they went 16-0. 14-2 is more likely but looking at their schedule I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility.
They got to play the Steelers without Bell and Bryant, the Jaguars, and the Cowboys without Romo and Dez. It's amazing how their schedule is falling this year. Usually they're a team that starts slow and gets on a roll when they figure out their identity towards the end of the year, so a 4-0 start doesn't bode well for the other 3 teams. I never thought the division title was a realistic possibility this year but I'd rather not have them absolutely run away with it (again). Hopefully we can keep it close with a couple more wins before the Bye.
What isn't? The game? Because in case you haven't noticed, the NFL is the craziest league ever where anything can happen.
Shocked that Cro is playing. And also a little worried about it. Wonder how quick Bowles will be with the hook if he gets burned a few times early. Hopefully that "safety help" shows up for him this week.
Fuck!! I just got done doing 12 hours at O'Hare Airport and just found out I have to go to Midway Airport in 3 hours for another 12 hours. Just my luck, I hate watching recorded games. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuck
