For christ sake. I'm trying to decide if Denver's d-line is that elite, or Indy's o-line is that awful. Maybe both? Also, the game is over if he had slid instead of scoring (it is anyway, but still).
Marshawn Lynch missed a lot of time last year and Wilson ended up having a career year but I believe no longer having Lynch in the backfield will hurt Seattle's offensive identity here in 2016. Seahawks current offensive attack just doesn't seem the same without beast mode running aggressive for them. With teams like Seattle, K.C & Indianapolis all looking suspect, suddenly our schedule doesn't seem as deadly as it once did.
Jacksonville got smacked down today too. wtf happened to that team? thought this was going to be their big break out year lol.
Jacksonville is a long ways away on the defensive side of the ball from becoming contenders. Dolphins. Bills. Jaguars. Browns. Colts. All 0-2. Jets. Bengals. Titans. Raiders. Chiefs. Chargers. All 1-1. This game coming up against Kansas City is already a big game.
Still not buying Jacksonville. I can see maybe 8-8/9-7 mediocrity -- which might still be enough to win that division -- but I believe that "making the leap" shit when I seee it.
It's more-so that offensive line, they have talent at RB. Add the fact that Wilson is injured and you got some issues. QB contract definitely hampered the team.
All those diehard fans that have stuck with Seattle through thick and thin circa 2011 have to be pretty upset today
LOL, I came to this thread right after reading that genius jerseyjay talk about how Bowles' 2015 success could be explained away by free agent signings. Fact is that unless you can coach up a bunch of new players together then you're just like the Raiders and Redskins of the 2000s. It's actually kind of a miracle what happened last year, even with the weak schedule.
