I really want to watch this game but they are showing the hyundai hipsters way too much, time for some black ops
definitely sick of those stupid hyundai ads I think that ad has come on around 800 times while I've been watching NFL and college football the last few weeks
Sorry if this has been said already, but the craziest part of this game might be that if Seattle wins, they drop from 8th to 21st in the draft (in every round). For a team that's going to get whipped by the Saints anyway, not even sure if winnings worth it with that kind of drop.
They do get to host a playoff game, which is worth millions of dollars, but your point is well-taken.
Yeah, the Saints should win the game, but you never know. If Seattle wins tonight, they'll get to 5-3 at home and they'll have a puncher's chance to win at home in the playoffs. Should they find a way to win, they then might go to Chicago in the divisional round. Seattle won in Chicago earlier this season.
I really think the Rams need to be force feeding Jackson. Even if it's not working now, stick with it. He's their $$ guy.
The Rams offense is bad. On top of that, their passes are so conservative. I understand it with Bradford being a kid, but they look like they will need 10 quarters to score an offensive TD.
If your scouting is decent you can have great success with the 21st pick. If you don't make the playoffs, you have zero chance of success in the postseason. Getting into the playoffs gives you an "any given Sunday" sort of chance to win (like Arizona did,) and even if you lose the experience is great for a young team like the Seahawks. Winning is always more valuable than draft position IMO.
as soon as they really keep harping on "he's gotta go deep, he's gotta go deep, why is everything short?", Bradford throws his first deep ball, but it's dropped. quasi-announcer jinx there.
Very strange sequence there - did Carroll actually call timeout or not? It wouldn't make any sense that he would have.
