So when do they come out with the schedule for next week, right after the Sunday night game? We know the matchups pretty much now: Jets at Colts Baltimore at Kansas City Green Bay at Philly New Orleans at Sea/St.L Odds are GB-Philly would probably be the marquee Saturday night game, which would bury Baltimore-KC in the afternoon and put us on Sunday - maybe at 1 PM and they bury the NFC West game at 4:30. Or we could be the marquee Saturday night game but they'll probably put the new media mancrush (Vick) there.
Yeah they went the opposite way of my prediction. Instead of us and the NFC West games being on Sunday, they're on Saturday with the Jets instead of the Vicks as the marquee special.
Interesting anomaly that in the AFC next week both road teams (Ravens, Jets) have better records than the home team they're playing (Chiefs, Colts). It's also almost true in the NFC, as the Saints have a better record than the Seahawks/Rams, and the Packers have the same record as the Eagles. I wouldn't be surprised if at least two of the wild card teams win, and I expect that the Ravens and Saints will be favored.
Sounds like Hasselbeck may start tonight for Seattle. He's active. It had been reported for days that Hasselbeck would almost certainly not go, and that Charlie Whitehurst would start in his stead.
that pregame show sucked. They completely ignored the fact that we didn't even know who's playing QB for Seattle. Their entire preview was "Seattle needs to stop Sam Bradford." and they asked Rodney Harrison how to do it and he says Seattle needs to confuse Bradford, because he's a rookie. I don't even know what to say. Are they that stupid and unaware of what's going on with the game being shown on their network?
when michaels and collinsworth came on, they finally mentioned it and now they're saying whitehurst starts
