The only thing better than a win is a win and a hit on Brady that knocks him into next week.

Karma would be Brady getting the Bledsoe treatment.

Beat the Pats, change the guard. We will have a top 5 pick either way.

Pats fan here, I used to post more frequently but not lately.
If I were in your shoes, I would want the Jets to look good, play hard, push the Pats to the limit, get screwed by the refs, and lose the game. That's your best outcome, get a top 3 or 4 pick (every round), have a chip on your shoulder next year and play above .500 for once..
Pats otoh have looked very suspect the past 2 weeks, especially last week vs Buffalo. Barely recognizable. Maybe they're just setting everyone up, but they don't look good enough to go very far this year. Hope I'm wrong. I would think some Jets fans would want to see Brady do well, he's a legend and amazing at 41.

Are you serious with the bolded part?
Br*dy is an arrogant, smug cheat, and the most overrated QB in history.
Also he hasn't look amazing at 41 at all.

Jet fans want him to fall flat on his face, and the best outcome for the Jets is a W in Foxboro.
We get a very high pick either way. the difference in 1 draft slot will not be worth positive momentum of beating the divisional rival that keeps winning the division.

You are probably right about it being close and decided by the refs though.
That's usually how it works against the Pats.

beating the Pats is always worth it. Would like to see Darnold get to 3000 yards and 20 TDs and stay at 15 INTs

We still have a shot at the #1 pick and would be a definite top 3 if we lose. I want Sam to look good and play well, but to still lose.

I would give up our 1st to destroy Brady's world on Sunday.

I understand why people want that, but if the Jets can get Bosa, it will make this metaphorical dagger meaningless, since Brady will be back next year, and I'd much rather see Brady stomped out by Bosa in epic fashion next year when it means something.

Also if the Pats even have a slight chance of losing to a 4-11 team with a rookie QB at home, they don't have a chance of making the Superbowl. I hate them as much as the next guy, but what the Jets do isn't going to change much at all. Pats are on the decline and I don't see them getting to the superbowl this year regardless.

I'd love nothing more than to see Darnold have another great game, but a last second loss would be ideal. I wouldn't be upset if the Jets won, it would be glorious, and I will still root for them, but looking to the future, I just feel it benefits the team more to have a close loss against another playoff team.

Also Arizona has very similar needs to the Jets, so I'd rather not see the Jets picking behind them every single round if they can help it.

Sorry to read about your dog Kurt. It's always the good ones that pass on while the Brady scum of the world keep walking. Condolences.

    Hahahahaaaa.

    Good one.

I hope Brady gets Herpes Simplex 10, goes blind and lives out his miserable life in a leper colony.

Yes! Personally the Jets season will be complete if Sam's first game in NE is a win. It bodes well for the future and more then likely means the pats have to play next week. Sam knows how much the pats have kicked the Jets butts over the past 17 years and hopefully he plays that way on Sunday The pats have a reason to win which means they will be playing hard.

"Todd Bowles is our HC" -Chris Johnson

Do you trust the Johnsons...???? what if hypothetically no one wants the coaching job ...?. If that POS TB was not our HC I would not mind a big win here to give us next Seasons momentum going forward

But giving the expression less one a so long win could be a hello next year for him again..strange things always happen in the Jet land bizarre world..think about it

I fear the worst with these terrible brothers J

I vote competitive loss or better we get blown out...LAST nail in TB coffin...grrrr

Sorry for your loss, that sucks. We lost a 22 month old GSD last year with the same thing.

    Let’s win for Namath!
