If the game turns into another shit show with poor time management, insipid play calling, interceptions and 3 points if we manage to get in the red zone there is zero chance. If the Jets show up, control the LOS and balance the run game and passing game anything can happen within the division. The pats O-line is stout and if Wilkerson doesn't play, exotic blitz packages will be the only way to get to Brady.
Edelman is out tomorrow which is a considerable loss for them. I don't know why but Danny Amendola only has 15 catches all season. If he's healthy he could take the Edelman role which was supposed to be his job, anyways. Plus we've never been able to handle Gronk. I would say the loss of Edelman shaves 3-7 off of score but we still lose by at least 14.
Amendola not fitting into offense has been crazy to me. For whatever reason he hasn't clicked in the offense. He might get going tomorrow
Lagarette Blount and Arrington are also out. They've been winning a lot and no matter what they say or how much they hate the Jets it's very possible they will not be up for this game. The game for the Jets isn't in the secondary (we already know they can't play) but on the D-line with Wilkerson not playing. I can see Coples having a big game. Have to key on Gray, too. I can see giving it to him 20 carries if he's successful.
They have a brady dummy hanging from a rope being lynched in the parking lot at the MetLife right now lmao
There's no way they won't be up for this game. They still need to clinch home field. And Belifaggot hates the Jets, he wants this game.
It's a hard game to gauge since it is Ryan's and the Jets Superbowl x 10. Edelman is out which will hurt. But the Patriots D is playing very well and the run D is much improved since the first meeting. The Pats will still have a healthy Gronk too. It's hard to see an upset but it's certainly possible.
They'll win because of the competition but they're due for a flat performance. For them better to get it out of the way now than later.
Would love to see the Jets come out as if Rex wasn't about to lose his job and the season wasn't over several weeks ago.
quick... get a pool together. Lets all go in on how many fuckin times they are going to say Revis was on the Jets !
