Jets - Square root of 81 Steelers - Pi The turf in a bathroom stall might actually be preferable to Heinz Field.
I agree ... Should be a close game. Did everyone forget that the Steelers would have lost to the Bills two weeks ago if not for Johnson's drop and Miami earlier in the year if not for the luckiest call in history? Of course they're a good football team, but they're not Supermen. We need to get our heads out of our asses and play up to our talent. If we do that, we should be able to compete with any team in the league. I think these blowout predictions are pretty ridiculous.
Agreed. They play in a much easier division and have been just as lucky as us. We should be able to hang with 'em.
I don't see us blocking James Harrison and LaMarr Woodley or doing alot of damage in general vs their defense. Jets 13 Steelers 24
Steelers D crushes next Sunday, polamalu literally eats sanchize's soul. Jets pack up the season and don't even play their final 2 games. End season 9-5. sports almanac asterisks will remind us of this week for the rest of our lives.
The fact that we're all saying blowout makes it obvious. Back and forth close game, Jets find a way to blow it late. Maybe Folk misses two FG's at the end. Where have we seen this before...
I have no confidence in this team right now. Back to back divisional games with just horrific perfomances. At least they've completely destroyed any expectations I had. I still think we win 2 games out of 3 , but not surprised if we go 1-2
We're gonna get our fucking asses kicked. No one...no one...rushes on the Steelers which mean we gotta throw which means we're fucked. And please dont give me this "Steelers offense isnt that good" horseshit. We held Miami to -2 yards offense in the 4th quarter of a 7 point game and still fucking lost. We havent scored a TD since Thanksgiving. We couldnt score on Miami at home... If the Steelers put 13 on the board its over.
I'd be stoked if the Phins were 9 and 4 right now, even if that including losing yesterday. Especially if we hadn't won the AFC East since.... How long has it been since the Jets won it? You guys are hard on you team!
You think this is hard? You should have been around during the days of Kotite, Groh, Herm and Mangini..
I seriously don't know where to start with discussing this game. The offense needs to show up, plain and simple.
This will be one of the ugliest games of the year and come down to which D scores more. So if you watched yesterdays games, I'd be worried.
Lol, I am aware of that, my point being that we can only put up 3 points in a game, and thats from a dodgy kicker. How many Jets fans sucked that ball over the upright last night?
Look at it this way, if the Jets don't find a way to beat a good team like Pittsburgh or Chicago then they absolutely do not belong in the playoffs. Honestly, I'd rather watch Indy or San Diego than a crappy, 10-6 Jets team that backed in.
I agree if they can't beat one of these teams then it will be a quick playoff exit. But if they back in, that is fine with me to. Just get in by any means necessary and then anything can happen.
Teams have figured us out now, and it looks like Schotty doesn't have a plan B. Right now, my feeling is they don't belong in the POs. Remaining schedule: @ Pittsburgh Steelers - Loss @ Chicago Bears - Loss Buffalo Bills - Loss Based on our current form, I cannot see another win here. Even against a spoiling Bills team.
I'm going to be at this game, I'm hoping Sanchez and Co. put on a decent performance. I doubt they will though. This will be another defensive game. After seeing what the Bengals' D did to the Steelers' Offense, there is no way they're moving the ball on the Jets. Jets - 6 Steelers - 3
Here's the thing. If they lose their next 2, they will have such enormous pressure on them in the Buffalo game that it will be almost impossible to win. Especially with their home fans waiting to shower them with boos after every bad play. If they win one of their next 2 then beating Buffalo isn't such a tall task.
