Central PA. We're just out of range of lake effect snow. Normally when its rain/snow mix here, Buffalo gets all snow.
One shot to the knees is all it takes for anyone. What people are referring to is the overall build of the athlete. Allen is much larger and more likely to be able to absorb the repeated hits from lineman and line backers. Jackson is a much smaller more explosive guy, but the big hits will wear on him faster.
Ahh ok I’m on the lake in Erie and we are forecasted for 35 and rainy on Sunday. It’s going to be a cold wet mud fest in the feild, good thing I have almost 0 desire to watch it anyway
Is this Season over yet? Someone called the next game the "last winnable one"..how quickly we forget the Bills buried us at home Oh I forgot..Todd Bowles will be up to 3AM till Sunday watching the film from Metlife Stadium with some game day adjustments
Hmmm... Just saw the weather this morning and it looks like the storm may go south of us. You guys up in Erie just might luck out.
Just like my favorite football team, not getting screw over by the weather is only a temporary thing here.
The chunks have begun their ascent 5 full days before a game. A new record. Oh, hey, that reminds me: 'Event Chunksrising'. Pretty decent sci-fi/horror movie, btw.
Of course its supposed to snow here on Sunday so I'll be watching the game from the comfort of my own rubber room..Mother Nature is one cruel bitch...
It has come to that. I've gotta say though that this past weekend's loss wasn't a purposeful kissing the canvas move. That's what makes it almost as bad if it was.
Yeah, but it wouldn't surprise me if it's a 'game time' decision. Sounds like he might get the start, though (practiced in short sleeves to prep for the weather). If he does play, let's hope it's not another shit shitty shit McShitty game. Darnold fist-bumped Allen at the draft right after he was selected and said, "I look forward to seeing you twice this year." Something like that.
Conflicted on Darnold playing. On the one hand, he plays and gets learning experience. On the other hand, wouldn't he learn more under a better coaching staff? Behind this garbage OL imagine losing him to some horrible (ACL, achilles) injury in games that mean absolutely nothing. Should that happen forget 2018 -- 2019 will be a over before it even begins. A healthy just-turned-22 Sam Darnold, 100 mil cap room and a top 3-5 pick? . Attractive package for a coaching candidate. Darnold out injured? . coaching candidate list shrinks like a scared turtle... .
Yeah, the only thing I worry about is his health. A bad injury this late in the season would be extremely detrimental to his career.
