...and he has better hands than Mulligan.. .....OK maybe thats a stretch.....but not much of one.....
It's a pretty simple formula. Don't turn the ball over and we win. We need to emphasize protecting Sanchez and holding onto the ball on special teams. Kickoffs could be an issue if we are without McKnight, but hopefully the D does its job and KC only kicks off once.
thats my fear as well... because shotty wont adjust... just like he didnt really mind ware beating hunter 1 on 1 vs dallas
The choices are: A. A Terrible QB who is not NFL Caliber or B. A QB who has a dislocated finger on his throwing hand and just joined the team 2 weeks ago. Either sounds okay to me.
Some Chiefs defensive numbers: Yds Allowed Per Game - 344.2 * NFL Rank - 16 Pass Yds Allowed - 213.8 * NFL Rank - 12 Pass Yds / Att - 7.7 * NFL Rank - 23 Sacks - 20 * NFL Rank - 29 Rush Yds Allowed - 130.3 * NFL Rank - 25 Rush Yds / Att - 4.2 * NFL Rank - 15 Points per Game - 22.3 * NFL Rank - 18
Not exactly The Steel Curtain. And their offense couldn't score in a whorehouse with a fistful of $50's. I can't believe anyone is actually worried about this game. As long as we dont give the damn thing away, it has 24-9 written all over it. Winning should not be an issue. What I'd like to focus on is seeing if we can actually get through one whole game without a single penalty for 12 defensive men on the field, or 12 offensive players in the huddle. I think that would be a first for us this season.
Should be a win, as long as Greene and LT can stay healthy enough to pound it. And no turnovers, please.
Somewhat misleading stats. Just as our points scored number is misleading on how "good" our offense is these are misleading as well. Their D was shredded in the first two games for 89 points. Since then Romeo Crennel has this D playing pretty well under circumstances similar to us where the O is constantly putting the D in short fields. Hali is a beast of a pass rusher and probably the best pass rusher the Jets will face all season not named DeMarcus Ware. The Jets play no easy games. Be ready for another nail biter. Probably low scoring.
In the last 5 games the Chiefs have put up a whopping 35 total points. L Miami 3 - 31 L Denver 10 - 17 L New England 3 - 34 L Pittsburgh 9 -13 W Chicago 10 - 3
No doubt about it. This defense has been playing better lately. However, I think we can still run and throw on them pretty much at will. Hali is a weapon and Johnson has been playing lights out the last few weeks.
i will say with absolute confidence the jets will win this one BIG. Their running game will do nothing, forget the pass game, and the Jets will grind it out on the ground. Jets 31 KC 3
give the start to Vlad IMO. Let Moore rest up. Keep Moore active. If Vlad is getting whopped and the game is too close for comfort bring in Moore.
Palko? Palko? I mean with our secondary. Oh boy. But wait, Jets usually find a way to make things interesting. Ok lets review . . . . Special Teams? Stick to Leonard with PR. Offense? run the ball. Defense? Load up on the run defense, take your chances with them throwing the ball. Similar to the Denver Broncos game. Jets definitely should win this game.
