yds per game can be misleading. To me it's all about scoring or preventing scores. The Jets have done a great job preventing rushing TD's but they're avg at best giving up passing TD's, only 6 teams in the league have given up more passing TD's than the Jets. I get it that Cro has been awful but its also scheme. Letting the Jets LB's cover TE's, not doubling a teams only receiving threat, not covering backs coming out of the backfield etc. has killed this team as much as Cro's bad play. This is a game that screams for doubling OBJ. There is no one else on the Giants that can beat them consistently. If they don't dial up double teams and lose this game after how they allowed Hopkins to kill them against a worse QB will be cause for mutiny of the fans. The coaching staff owes this game to the fans for the shit show game plan in Houston.
It's more of a must win for the Giants than us. If they lose they can go in a complete tailspin with games vs Carolina and Vikings up. We can go ahead and be 7-6 after next week and still hold a playoff spot
If they lose you can bet anything Coughlin will be fired. His fate hinges on this game. 3 years no playoffs, he's 69 years old. This is it for him. Retire Turd Tom! J-E-T-S!
While I don't agree that it's a no-brainer win, I do agree that it's time to "flip the switch" on the Jets entire approach for the past 10 years our so. Go out and win a game that can be won with an effort like we saw yesterday. No talking...just do it.
Marcus Williams probably out with MCL sprain. If Revis isn't back, the Jets' secondary is going to get lit the fuck up if we have Walls at CB2.

One or the other will play. I don't think there's much of a chance Revis misses this game. Giants are totally banged up everywhere. I think even if we give up 24 points we probably still win this game.
Nothing would make me happier than for the Giants to fire Coughlin after getting blown out by the Jets on Sunday.

Agreed on the Giants season (potentially) going to shit if they lose to us. Revis should be back. If we thought Nuk was tough, OBJ isn't going to be any easier. Good thing is, that's about all they have. Randle, Harris.. they don't cause that much of a threat IMO.
Its feasible we could have 2 1000 yard receivers this year after multiple years of not having a single one. Keep feeding the ball to decker and marshall and we win this game.
If Revis is out, does that mean Cro will cover OBJ. OBJ is probably hoping Cro covers him. Don't think he's forgotten what Cro said about him earlier in the season.
I never have a good feeling about playing the Giants. But, I honestly feel like we have the more talented team. We'll see. I could definitely see a heartbreaking loss, regardless.
