Week 13 Jets @ Redskins discussion

Last week Grossman led a 4th quarter comeback down 10 points, including a 50 yard TD bomb to Anthony Armstrong on 3rd and 19.

I've been picking against my redskins for most of the year but i have a sneaking suspicion that the skins are going to win this game. Still i think it will be very, very close.

Good luck to both teams though.

I expect Rex Grossman to have a very difficult day against the Jets defense. Some QB's are smart enough to pick the Jets a part and not be afraid of all the looks the Jets give, and some QB's are Rex Grossman. The question is, can the Jets offense produce? I think they can.

 

i think the skins are going to win this. we haven't matched up well against teams with good DLines this year. Been our achilles heel. I'm afraid that's going to be the case this week.

Jets fans are lame. Hahaha the Skins are terrible.

 

I'll go against the grain and pick the Jets to win this game. I think Sanchez has one of the better games of his career.

 

I live in Maryland. If we're playing the Redskins I know, we should win.

That being said, I don't take any match-up for granted anymore even when my friends who are Skins fans expect to lose.

But with LT and Kerley hopefully being back (I hear they practiced today), I really want to see the offense step up. What few excuses we may have had last game should be gone, and hopefully almost losing our playoff chances will wake us up. And please, no more special teams screw-ups.

 

since one of my best friends is a Skins fan, we at the bar are forced to have one of the TV's tuned to the Skins every week. They're a TERRIBLE offensive football team but they've been able to hit on a few long plays this season. I don't see them having the same success against our secondary.
We never blow anyone out so it may be close for most of the game ... but as long as we don't give the game away with stupid penalties and turnovers there should be no way in hell we're not kneeling out the game with a two score lead.

I see a lot of screens and three step drops in our future, and more than 130 yards on the ground.

never get tired of that. Great personality, great coach & bad ass. Would love to see Jets bring this guy a ring before he retires.

 

Jets 20 skins 6. This will be a solid game by the Jets. No mistakes, solid confident game from Sanchez. Jets will dominate this game! Have some faith!

 

I think we finally get some turnovers which leaders to a lot of short fields for our O. 34-9 and a lot like the Jags game. Their Offense is absolutely horrid and if our O line can protect Mark than we will dominate in all phases. Skins have been terrible since the start of the season.

 

Jets 24 Skins 17. Our defense picks off Grossman a couple times. Mark does mediocre, but is improving. 2 tds, 230 yards, 60% completion, no picks.

 

I like the Jets 17-9

 

That sounds like a pretty good game to me.
