Well, if we want to still be 'in the hunt' we should hope for Buffalo, Miami, and Tennessee to lose. Do that, and we are somehow the 9th seed. Unbelievable how weak the AFC is if that is even plausible at this point
then he must of been the only one. Bart Hubbuch@HubbuchNYP The Hernandez play controversy is now moot. The NFL has ruled that no challenge flag was thrown, per a league spokesman.
cincinnati/oakland announcers don't know the rules. They call it clearly a TD for ben green, but it was fairly obvious that it wasn't a clear TD because he couldn't get inside the pylon. Then it gets reversed on replay and they're saying it's the right call to reverse it after some intern informed them of the actual NFL rules about a TD.
I never mentioned it, so here are the local games: Denver@KC Minnesota@Chicago then at 4:25 SF@NO (easily the best of the three, as both are contenders) Saints need this one Chicago is 7-3, Seattle 6-4 (both with games ongoing) Saints could go to 6-5 with a win
Leon Washington takes it 98 yards to the house against Miami. His 8th career TD kickoff return, tying for most in NFL history.
Strange scene on the sidelines in Indianapolis as 2 Colts cheerleaders are getting their heads shaved to show support for Chuck Pagano.
Moronic decision by Russell Wilson to throw a pass that takes his team farther out of FG range. Edit: and now he loses more yards on 3rd down. Miami is going to get a chance to drive for a FG to win that game.
Absolutely bizarre decision by Atlanta to try a 48 yard FG with a 1 point lead and 11 seconds left. It misses, and now Bucs have a chance at a short pass to get into FG range.
Batch intercepted for the 3rd time to go with 3 other turnovers, and Cleveland looks good to beat Pittsburgh. Freeman throws into the end zone but it's incomplete and Atlanta wins. Looks like Miami is going to be in position to beat Seattle with a FG.
Another turnover for Pittsburgh and Cleveland should win for the 3rd time in their last 25 games against the Steelers.
I got ahead of myself because pitt turned it over before the 2 minute warning, cleveland can't kneel it out and cleveland actually fumbled it to pitt but the runner was ruled down and pitt had used all its timeouts
