He's refering to the 2 hand touch games we all played, because he's not tackling anyone on the field.

    Jets win 13-20
Defence shows up keeping the Dolphins to a low score,
Ivory has 100+ yards and 1 TD
Decker 100+ yards and a TD
Couple of field goals to round it out

Revis OUT Sunday. Remember when Revis allowed that TD to Randy Moss in the 1st half, and then was "injured" the 2nd half? Cromartie stepped up and played his best ball as a Jet shutting down Moss in a 28-14 Jets win over the Patriots. Hopefully Cro can do something similar this Sunday against Miami.

At least beating the dolphins this year won't be as painful as beating them last year. Jets win OR Fanbase and local Media go into full attack mode.

It really does kind of feel like that. The loss to New England was hard fought, but blown in the end. The Oakland game was a complete mess. They survived the Jacksonville game, but you could easily say the Jaguars outplayed them. The Bills game was the opposite. The Jets outplayed Buffalo, but 4 turnovers will kill you any game. Then the Texans game last week, the team looked out-matched, out-schemed, and out-coached. Really need to get things back on track this Sunday at home.

Just win the freaking game. I don't care how it's done. If it's ugly. If it's pretty. I just wanna see us with more points then them when the clock reaches 0:00 at the end of the 4th.

The one thing I want to see us do is come out with some type of fire or emotion. The first two weeks we were flying all over the place on D. We didn't look complacent. 11 hats to the ball every single time. Let the Dolphins know we aren't going to allow them to win in our building.

"I don't think we're getting off on the edge very fast," Bowles said. "We don't have a fast edge-rushing team. We have a bunch of power guys inside and some guys that can make some plays on the inside. I don't think we have the true speed guys on the outside yet. So we blitz more here and there to cover up for some of those things."

Lines up Bowen & Pace on the edge. Complains about lack of speed outside.

SMH, then you put Mauldin on the weak side and send him all day.

Does Bowles not watch the video?, that kid drops his shoulder and is halfway to the QB before he finishes dropping back.

I'm done, I m so frustrated by this guy right now...

The Texans had the leagues 25th rush defense and the jets could not run it effectively. If Wesley and Winters are in, it's going to be a long and painful afternoon.

The jets are going to end up 5-11, they just are not making enough plays on either side of the ball to indicate to me that they are going to right this ship.

They get close and shoot themselves in the foot, too many mistakes by everyone to straighten this mess out.

Seriously, how do you limit Mauldin to 5 snaps a week after he breaks out with his 3 sack (two .5 sacks) performance? Why go back to rushing Pace who has been completely ineffective?

"[Mauldin] is fast enough," Bowles said. "I think he'll be a very good pass rusher. He's got to learn some things. Obviously, he's got a lot to learn about the game."

The man really drives me nuts with his BS. Mauldin is clearly our best edge rusher, PLAY HIM! He won't until Pace that old fart gets injured. And now he's pulling the same shit with Marcus Williams.

“He’s been consistent from Day 1. When you put him in, he just makes plays. No matter how many plays he gets in there, the ball finds him,” Bowles said of Williams. “He’s poised. He’s very smart. You only got to tell him things once.”

If he's been so good and so consistent from day 1 how come you play your favorite player (Cro) instead, who has been struggling from day 1, who hasn't made ANY plays? It's stuff like this that makes me question whether he's the right guy for the job. Then he has the nerves to go out there and completely trash Devin, A ROOKIE, for having a bad game. Yet he refuses to do the same with Pace, Cro, DD, guys who have been sucking for 10 straight games. Really incredible. And he actually defends them! He's actually saying they're playing well, they earned the right to start! Not only does he NOT trash them for being horrible the entire year, he applauds them. Unbelievable.

Pace played over Mauldin on first and second downs because he's incredibly consistent at setting the edge against running plays, whereas Bowles admits that Mauldin has lots of stuff to learn in the running game. He also said that his role on early downs could increase without Coples, indicating that they're getting more comfortable with him.

Idk why he won't play Marcus over Cro though.

with Revis out we will definitely need to rely on more natural pass rush.
i don't trust Cro and Williams without help. so yeah, hopefully more Mauldin playing time!

also more Kerley and Henderson, less D Smith and D Davis, who have really been costing the team.

For the same reason he's not playing Mauldin over Pace on passing downs. That's the issue. Nobody is asking for Mauldin to be the full time starter. I mean I wouldn't be against it, but Bowles doesn't even play him in obvious passing situations. Play Pace on 1st down, fine. But if you limit a guy like Mauldin 5 snaps and don't even play him on passing downs, and play a guy like Pace over him, then why the fuck are you surprised you can't generate any pass rush off the edge? Coples by the way barely played the past few weeks, his snaps went straight to that other bum (Bowen).

Bowles also announced that there will be no changes whatsoever. Sounds great.

As of last night, NFL network had on there scrolling ticker that Mangold was "Probable." Not sure how official that is, but it makes me optimistic he's playing.
