watching the saints blow out the raiders. I have a stream going of hou/jax FOX is pretending the Houston/Jacksonville game is not happening. They have not referenced it once during the first quarter (although they keep cutting to Carolina). they're also ignoring the dallas game
What a bizarre decision by Jacksonville to go for it on 4th and 10 from midfield. They don't make it, and Houston only needs a first down or two for a FG to win. Dallas kicks the FG and wins.
Houston doesn't need the FG as Andre Johnson wins it, going to about 270 yards receiving for the day. Schaub with 5 TDs and 530 yards passing.
Between the two defenses we may see the Colts and Patriots combine for 100+ points lol...not holding my breath on that but so far every possesion has been a TD.
Texans game didn't make a lot of sense. One of the worst offenses in the league (31st according to DVOA) with a backup QB going up against one of the elite defenses in the league (2nd according to DVOA). Jacksonville somehow gets 34 in regulation (four TD passes and no picks for Henne) and another 3 in OT.
Gotowski with a really weird missed field goal. It bent right then straightened out and left. Maybe because he was kicking at the open end of the stadium that it moved weird
