unless or until we get a franchise QB all we will ever do is flatter to deceive and have mediocre seasons (or slightly better or slightly worse seasons) but we are never going to win long term unless or until we somehow get a great QB - surely we are due one at some point?

    Wellp... There goes our season...

It was the most Jets way to end the game it fucking hurts.

I want to know what I did in my past life to deserve this being a Jets fan.

I don't put this on Fitzpatrick although he is certainly not the QB the Jets need. This was a team built on defense and this D is not performing up to snuff, simple as that. Forget about being the best run defense, opposing QB's are getting time to throw and that's been the problem all year long. I don't care how many Revis' you have out there, if you give an NFL QB time, he'll kill you.

The entire offseason can be summed up with "Mistakes were made"

Revis has been average the past few weeks. How much did the Jets pay him?

"Knowing what you're watching" or "understanding what you're seeing" doesn't make you a fan. I could watch a Seahawks-Rams game and "know what I'm watching", but that doesn't make me a fan of either team. A fan is someone who continues to root for his team to win despite the fact that they are down 2 scores in the 3rd Qtr. A fan is someone who hopes against hope for a better outcome despite what they are seeing so far. A fan sticks by their team until it's really over.

Revis is a great CB there's no doubt about that, however, his value to a team is overrated. Compare the performance today of Revis and JJ Watt. Forget about Revis getting hurt. Revis on top of his game (which he wasn't today) takes one opposing receiver out of the game. But Watt forces defenses to make adjustments (double teams), take penalties and puts tremendous pressure on the QB to get rid of the ball quickly. In short, Watt raises the game of all DB's and that's better than having just one superstar DB.

I thought L. Williams would be more effective getting to the QB than he has been. To me, he's been a bit of a disappointment.

You know they don't need you, nor do you have any effect on the outcome of the game, when you're home typing on a message board, right? Most of us are realists. You are delusional...not a "super fan"

Yeah. Weak. Here's the first post in your second link:

"Ok so we had a big win against the unbeaten Bengals on MNF in their house. Nicely done, Great job guys. Soooooooo now don't **** up and mess up our winning streak in typical Texans fashion.

    Texans 24

    Jets 17"

    Yeah. Weak. GTFOH.
