It's an impressive feat ... But one that starts with the final two quarters of the Miami game, where they allowed 44 points and 500+ yards of offense -- including 250 yards rushing. The next four quarters were played against the Titans ... Maybe the worst offensive team in the league ... A team with no running game whatsoever all year, and Zack Mettenberger playing QB that day. They definitely looked good on Monday night. That said ... Having 10 days for Mangold, Marshall, Decker and Ivory to rest up while they play on a short week, I'll be shocked if they hold us under 20 points.
Its Yates against our Defense..that better be 4 quarters of three and outs Keep their defense on the field so they tire out or just do enough to get a field goal better in a def struggle
Whenever we go 5 WR there is gonna be a guy lined up close enough to chip him on the way. Maybe we will go 4 WR And a TE. He's going to get doubled and chipped all game
My prediction We will turn ball over 4 times Fitz will be injured out of game. JJ watt and company will deflect 7 pass attempts. Ivory will have 22 yards rushing Geno throws a pic and strip sack not to mention horrible plays. We lose 18-3 in a fucking embarrassment I'm already feeling sick
Not trying to take anything away from Decker, but he had those opportunities because of the presence of Marshall. He is not being double teamed as much this year
Marshall isn't doing much with his 1 on 1 matchups as of late so hopefully Fitz continues to throw the ball to Decker. He's gotta stop forcing the ball to Marshall when nothing is there. There's no need to risk turnovers when you have Decker 1 on 1 on a corner, he's gonna win that matchup 95% of the time.
lol one day people will learn Decker is a product of nobody. Last year we all know he shouldn't of been a #1 but i think he played it pretty well. The problem was he was in and out of games with injury and we didn't have any other weapons outside of him so he was keyed in on. Still and all last years season from Decker was one of the best we've had in a long time in this franchise. He almost matched his 2013 numbers in Denver last year with Geno at helm. Product of Peyton my ass. His routes are smooth jazz. His hands are as soft as Devin Smith and Dee Milliner combined. His awareness is through the roof. He is legit. Top 3 #2 wideout in the NFL. Remember everyone was saying we overpaid decker? lol 7M per. far from overpaid especially with guys like Maclin making 11M per. He's the best white WR left since Jordy is hurt. He's better than Edelman. 8 Catches 110 yards & TD. Sunday @ houston. Side note: ever woulda guessed the jets would have 2 top 12 fantasy WR's? lol *drops mic*
We can't lose this game or the season is over. The AFC South is our ace in the hole. We blow that and it is over.
Enunwa is back. Vows to be a positive influence post-suspension. His blocking ability was missed, glad he's back.
A lot of people are going to be disappointed then. I don't see anyway we blow them out. I can see a 4 point game entire way and maybe a late touchdown we score puts it away, but It'll be close the entire way
The Jets team that has showed up the past few weeks is not capable of blowing out anyone. With how the Texans D is playing, there is definitely some cause for concern. I don't quite feel like year's past with our offense, but I don't feel confident right now that our offense will play a good game.
I agree with the offensive woes. I don't understand why they don't try to get in rythym with some simple throws to get Fitz in a groove. Slants to Marshall, screen to Ivory, seam routes to Decker. He clearly lacks on deep throws so why not establish a nice tempo early. Seems like they tried to do that early in the Buffalo game, but of course, it started raining pretty hard during the first possession. Should be dry on Sunday. Not saying go pass happy, but it doesn't have to be an all-or-nothing pass game
