I hate the Phins more Im not sure why though. I can handle NE's success now because its just expected I guess. The Phins have always been competition on our level so I guess thats why I enjoy beating them so much.
To me it's the built up history and animosity. NE I've only hated since 2001 and we've been a thorn in their side as well. With Miami I feel like we've never properly avenged the Mud Bowl...and Shula got away with it (while Belichick at least got some stigma and got tarnished for spygate) Shula is still viewed as a darling of the league Plus the fake spike put us in a 2 1/2 year tailspin
I can't like any of them. I agree somewhat about the Pats only being good the last decade. There was a long period where the Pats were so bad they were like us and I felt sympathy for them as they were suffering the same type misery as us. But they are still Boston and after the last 10 years its hard to stomach anything from Boston. Not to mention I still want revenge against the Pats for the game where Grogan beat us 56-3. That was one of the worst games I can ever remember watching. Just one day before I die I want to see us beat them that bad.
if you have no one to throw to, put your head down and try to get whatever you can get at least it doesn't stop the clock how do you run out of bounds for a loss in any situation, let alone that one?
I think with a third and 1 with the lead and 3 minutes left, you have to run it (sneak, FB dive....) if you get stopped, it can run clock or force a timeout you don't want an incompletion
