Panthers-49ers game is a close one. I wasn't expecting this type of play from Panthers. Nice for them.
Simms mentioned it briefly just now, but TEs are getting away with extending their arm and pushing off on their routes in a way they should't be.
Palmer has a free play due to Houston offsides, and rather than throwing deep, he scrambles for a yard
Panthers are the real deal and pretty much for sure a playoff team, might even beat the Saints out for the division. Everyone had been chalking this as an easy game early on, I knew this team was going to be good.
Its crazy I remember thinking about the Panthers when they were 0-2 and rumors were swirling that Rivera was getting fired if they lose the next game to the giants, it reminded me of Coughlin turning it around in 2007. I thought imagine if the Panthers pull something off like the 2007 giants, now they have completely turned it around its nuts, they might win that division
Any given Sunday and all that, but at this point it's hard to see the Jets beating Carolina unless they pitch a shutout.
It would have been interesting if Denver hadn't recovered that muff - the San Diego guy was definitely too close to the guy trying to field the punt.
