That was an All-Timer. I will remember that like I remember Favre playing on MNF after his dad died or Peyton in the AFC Title Game coming back against the Patriots. Special stuff. I think his knee is really hurt too. He said he is playing next week, but I would like to see the diagnosis.
I was watching with my best friend and he's a bronco fan, I'm a jet fan, but being Wisconsinittes, we always gotta cheer the home team, and since he got hurt last year it was basically looking forward to this year once he went down, so to be down 17-0 at half time and him hurt again, that feeling came rushing back like the season is over already. I told him, I'll take the loss, and move on, I just want him to be ok. Never imagined they would have their largest 4th quarter comeback ever, in their 100th season. Just an unreal feeling. And there's still tomorrow! Hope our boys in green can give me a sweet 30th birthday present lol. That's all I want!
when I went to bed with the score 20 - 0 and A-Rod coming in I knew they would win I just felt it ... what a comeback !
Freaking Rodgers is amazing, but Matt Nagy totally blew it with the conservative coaching late in the 2nd half.
Happy B, @NYJalltheway! I turned the game off at the 2:00 minute warning because just like my friend's wife said at the Jets vs Miami 51-45 game, there's nothing going on here. I don't dislike the Packers, but I only really go for them if I have a vested interest like my Giants hatred, against the Cheats, Bills, or Miami, or anything that affects the Jets, really. Stellar game, though. On a side note that can also be put in the who cares files, it's a little weird that Rodgers won't have anything to do with his family, particularly his father and brother. They'll probably really come begging now for reconciliation with his recent payday.
I watched most of that game, and Ward looked great. The only thing that bugged me is that he reminded me of our former #20 who could never get his head turned on the TD pass he gave up. If he turns his head he either has an interception or a deflection.
And to think, I thought that was just a Bowles problem! I thought very highly of Nagy before last night's game, but I came away really disappointed. Packers switched to zone, and Nagy had no answers.
Rams don't look very good so far. Raiders with 145 yards in penalties in the first half. The NFL record for a game is 212 yards.
Raiders went through the entire third quarter without a penalty, and were outscored 10-0 and are now losing 20-13. Seems pretty clear what Chucky's strategy should be.
