A new year of football means a new year of every week's opposing fans saying how their receiver will be the first one to beat Revis in a matchup.

I like how they singled out my alan ball comment. I made a mistake actually now that i looked it up. I think i confused him with Bryan McCann. he had two long TDs last year and always seemed to be around the ball in his limited playing time. one might have been a kick/punt return

 

From the sound of it he is better than Revis. I mean Darrelle didn't even have a pick last year.

 

how does one expose revis? revis can give up a play, but what can you expose about him?

 

because apparently a-rod, i mean miles austin, is better than calvin johnson/andre johnson/2009 randy moss/brandon marshall/reggie wayne/vincent jackson/any receiver in the league.

 

The only receiver revis hasn't gone up against amongst the "elite" receivers since his lockdown stretch began is Larry Fitzgerald. He went up against him in 08 when we annihilated the Cardinals but he wasn't playing quite at the same level yet. Not sure how he fared. i remember a bunch of garbage time TDs from warner when Mangina and Sutton started playing prevent D, so i don't put a ton of stock into that.

If he can shut down Megatron and andre johnson, fitzgerald isn't going to be any different
