Thats a great trade and a ton of value for dropping 18 spots.

Edit looking at the value chart it looks like the deal will be equal if the redskins 2nd round pick next year is 21st in the second round.

35 = 550

53 = 370
189 = 16
2nd round pick for value is equal to one round later = 85th pick =165

 

Keep it up Jets FO you might make the moron hall of fame!

Trade results

THe Jets get the skins 2nd round pick this year, a 6th pick and a 2nd round pick next year. To me this is a great trade and shows that the Jets are leaning toward a QB in the Second round. Probably Kellen Clemens in my opioion.

Why? The FO got a 2nd rounder for next year. It was a good trade.

 

Two #2's and a 6th for a 2nd. Good enough for me.

 

if you go by the chart, we got value over what our pick is worth


and trust me, white, justice, and jimmy williams will continue to slide...quite possibly all into round 3 or later (jimmy williams could very well find himself in rounds 6 or 7 possibly undrafted, but im sure someone will finally throw that piece of crap a bone...justice played horrible last year and has major red flags in arrests, lendale is out of shape...tested positive for drugs..was weak..didnt run a 40...and didnt interview well...)

Yeah a great move in the long run for sure, a little ticked because there are so many good players available but our focus should be on the long term.

Great move for us. If we want a second tier QB, 35 was to high. We come out ahead in points as well as we can get the QB at a more appropiate level.
