Lynch is a great back. He runs with power and has a quick burst and a great motor. he is a similar back to Greene wich is a between the tackles type back. If Green could stop pussy footing around in the back field and get is pads going north to south and point down hill he would be more effective. this past year it looked to me that he was very timid in hitting the hole. He needs to realize hes got to be the guy to grind away at opposing D's. We need another back to compinsate for that. a back with a quick burst but can also be a good pass blocker on third down. You dont have to be the biggest back to do that (look at darren sproles). If Joe McKnight had the Brains and would step up he could be great. but who knows maybe we need to look in the FA market. It sounds like LT wont be back as much as i hate to see him go i think his time in NY is done.
Think of it as investing in future athletes. Atleast 1 of those kids will end up being good at football.
we need a speed back to compliment greene. maybe draft a rookie and give mcknight some more carries? not sure what the answer is but im not sure lynch is the right choice.
lets bring walter payton back from the dead and sign him. we can pay tim tebow money to intercede with jesus and perform a resurrection and still be under the salary cap
I know I was just referring to an old complaint about Bills RBs who always saved their best games for the Jets. Not counting OJ and Thurman Thomas, clear cut HOFers, it always seemed to me that guys like Joe Cribbs, Travis Henry and Willis McGahee gained all their yardage against the Jets! When he first came up, it looked to me that Lynch was falling into that mold vs. the Jets But you are absolutely correct, Lynch has taken his career to the next level.
