Well ... I'm arguing that Douglas doesn't know how to fix an offensive line (or doesn't think it's important enough to care about) and you're arguing that he knows what he's doing.

No one is firing Saleh. Can we stop with the nonsense. Next year will be his test - no playoffs, no Saleh.

Nobody forces you to go all in on everything the Jets do - you choose to at your own peril.

Hey Woody, do you see this? Jim Harbaugh is reported to be willing to leave Michigan if offered an NFL HC job.

I’d get rid of Saleh and staff if Harbaugh was willing to come here. Without any guarantee of that happening I’d bring back Saleh & staff for another year and try to solve the QB position.

Agree, but I'd throw Payton into that mix.

So from what I am reading here is we are basically stuck with R Saleh if Woody doesn't hit a homer and get Harbaugh or Payton???

This sounds almost as bad as preparing for another year with Bowles and McCagnan on the free pass they got.

I am just thrilled to tears:(

BTW based on a 2 year track record Saleh will offer more of the same ..so why not cut him loose now?? Is there not an alternative to choice A or B ???..any other Veteran coaches out there if Payton Harbaugh not coming??

I'm getting the feeling Jim Harbaugh isn't getting a lot of love in the poll, because most people think it would never happen. Well reports are saying it may actually have a shot, and just depends on if Woody is willing to pull the trigger and give Harbaugh what he wants. Woody has been chasing Harbaugh ever since he left the 49ers, and Jim is accepting calls from NFL teams. Woody, make the damn call!

Think outside the box for once and go get Deion Sanders, why not? He is inspiring to young men and would get the most out of these guys

I would rather have Sander over Saleh, that's for sure, but hoping Woody makes a grand jester to long suffering Jet fans and gets us either Harbaugh or Payton.

Do you think it's realistic to expect the same coaching staff to all of a sudden be able to "solve" anything? Don't you think making some staff changes should give them a better chance? There's a difference between changing the entire staff and upgrading the one you have.

if for some reason we fire Saleh & hire harbaugh, I hope like hell that he is successful. But i think it's more likely that he would be an unmitigated disaster

Who needs Harbaugh when we got Saleh baby. 11-22 best coach in the league! Woody's making money thru the noses who cares about winning. 7-9 with 5 critical games lost in a row. 2 games in a row the team didn't even show up. No touchdows scored in 2 games in a row vs trash defenses. 7-9 improvement baby. Maybe next year we will go 8-9 after Jd hits on this draft class to and gets Saleh more studs. And signs 2 more free agents that will make the pro bowl.
