Argh. I live in San Diego. They're showing the Chargers@Broncos game at the same time. I will watch on the internet, or hope for a blowout so they'll switch.

We don't suck, sucking actually has some cache. We are the epitome of mediocrity. We have a good chance to lose by a field goal.

lolno. I'll go to Harvard XD.

Back on topic, I think the Jets can win this game if Sanchez can do as well against the Pats as he did the first time. And if our special teams doesn't give up a return touchdown.

I don't think we have a chance, to be honest. Our defense stinks. Our Oline is overrated and we have a mediocre OC.

I'll still watch and hope, but I'll be realistic.

Also, Harvard is overrated. Goto Yale or Brown.

Meh. The defense doesn't stink. Most teams would like a defense that's third in the league in yards allowed. The D just sucks during crunch time. We need some good D-line players and a CB who's not always injured (Lito) or gets burned all the time (Lowery). This year is not the year.. looking forward to 2010! =)

Can anybody see us beating the Pats then losing to the Panthers next week?
    Just asking...

I hope I am wrong, but the Jets have too many injuries and a rookie QB. EVERYTHING will have to go perfect for the Jets to win at all, anything less will be a loss and a potential blowout.

Sticky this thread. It would have been relevant the last 40 years and will be each year. Here's a hint: they'll suck next year too. But regardless the Pats games are big.

    Fired up

I have read just about every article and watched every Football analysis show leading up to this game. I mean.... not one guy is picking the jets in an upset. I know you cant expect the consensus to pick the jets or even to have any meaningful number of people picking them..... but to have not one guy. Furthermore, its the way people think the Pats will win...the consensus is that the Pats win easily or even blow us out.

Reasons range between Brady being on fire of late, Welker not being the last game and these guys being upset because they lost a game and had a controversy via the 4th and 2....... Pats are going to be invincible.

Fires me up. That people think the Pats can just decide they are angry and beat the jets up... like the jets dont have talent or pride themselves.

I think the best mindset the jets can have is to come out looking to beat people up. Smack guys around with their superior oline, running backs dbs lbs and just out tough these guys.

If they do that...the win will take care of itself. Or at a minimum...show people we cant be pushed around just cause we've lost a few games and the Pats are a little upset.
