It was a good call on the PI as he grabbed Braylons arm. The pocket was a moving pocket, he was outside where the tackle lines up but not where the tackle ended up. That was mroe grounding than the one they called on sanchez. I may be wrong but I don't believe the rule is based on where the tackle is lined up at the snap.
Bart Scott and Kerry Rhodes played so fucking bad, Rhodes did have some tackles but when it came to coverage he was overall shitty, Bart Scott couldn't tackle to save his life last night that was fucking insane to see Ronnie and Ricky CONSTANTLY break tackles pissed me the fuck off
I'm afraid the Dolphins just produced a script. It's called "How to Beat the Jets" and other teams will use it.
Scott had 11 tackles, I don't think he played his greatest game but far from playing bad. The o-line just had their way with us, when they can get to the second tier that's a problem. I'm just sick over this loss and can't wait until November 1!! Now we have to listen to phinphans gloat for weeks, disgusts me. This is not the SOJ's though, I wish jet fans would lose that already.
Were are not even remotely close to SOJ. If we were SOJ last night it would have been 37-10 and the Dolphins would have run for 350 yards.
This is pretty much all there is to it. It's aggravating as shit, but it's the truth. What worries me is that last season after the Titans game when our D started to show vulnerability, we were never able to pull it together. And one more thing. If Kerry Rhodes is the playmaker he says he is and we all think he is, then he needs to be allowed mroe freedom on the field. I want to see him blitz more, make more takles on sweeps, etc. He made some plays yesterday, but he still looks like a guy filling the role of safety, not a dynamic player who dominates all over the field.
That's what I'm saying!! I've read through posts saying here we go again, its the SOJ. Makes me sick, bottom line were still in first and still control our own destiny. Our d played bad and won't happen again. I'm still confident that this division is ours.
I still feel we can play with any team in the NFL and give them one hell of a run for the money. Right now, it is all about getting things right for next week and not thinking past that. We have to end the losing thing and the Bills will be our bitches next week.
I am shocked at how horrible our D played against a rookie QB! They did nothing! We were lucky to be in this game at the end. If not for two special team first downs in the first quarter we would have been blown out! I hope they figure it out quick because now they will have the Wildcat from everyone for the rest of the year!
