We get Gus!

I have to admit, Johnson and Tasker weren't too bad yesterday. Even when we were losing I wasn't getting too annoyed with the announcers, so I have to give credit where credit is due. Tasker is a pretty decent color guy. I agreed with much of what he said and vice versa.

 

I enjoyed their commentary. And how could anyone not love Gus' call on the Holmes catch&run in OT: "sanchez underneath santonio HOLMES! WATCH OUT!" :rofl:

Enjoyed the commentary for Lions/Jets & just thankful that it wasn't Diederoff. That guy can be so bad that he gives me a headache from the commentary. Normally, when ppl talk stupidness non-stop I walk away. When Diederoff does it, I'm forced to sit there & listen for too damn long.

 

Gus was great yesterday. I hope we could ge them every week.

 

On 12/20/80 there was a Jets-Dolphins game that was broadcast with no announcers.
