Favre had tight ends in Green Bay. Franks was a stud at Miami, which has proven that college stats aren't worth much (Shockey, Olson). It wasn't until last year that he got someone who might have been worth a crap (Lee). Point is, the tight end is just another blocker 90% of the time in an offense with Favre or any other big arm @ QB. Gonzalez should just call it quits at the end of the year just like Brett should have done. We all know he won't though, he'll end up selling his soul for a shot @ the ring.
