We could of have had: Leinart (4), Mangold (29), and Justice (35)

Leinart's arm is no more questionable than Brick's run blocking.

^That is true, but Ferguson's run blocking can be fixed. Leinart's arm strength won't improve significantly.

Minor detail... we passed on a QB who won ONLY 2 national titles, a heisman, ~160 QB rating for 3-years, threw for over 10,000 yards over 3-years with 99TDs to only 23 INTS...and INSTEAD picked a relatively (vs. Leinart / Young / Cutler / Croyle / Whitehurst) unproven collegiate QB who has NOT played in ONE game after breaking his ankle...can you say HI BUST POTENTIAL...

I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Anwyay, even if Leinart excels in AZ, you won't see me making a "told you so" thread.

We could have had Marino. Or Randy Moss. Or Ed Reed. Draft is done and I can't help but try to predict how we will do with the people we did draft.

I tend to think he will do good there.

I think clemens will turn out to be as good as leinart. He has the worlds solidest fundamentals ever and doesnt need to work on fixing anything. With that in mind from now on he can only improve. Also he does not have as much pressure on him. I do think that Leinart will benefit from being under a veteran like Warner though.

Also, how were the jets supposed to know that Winston Justice was going to be there in the second round??? He could have gone in the first.

He has all the ingredients for a good offense, it's really all up to him.

Leinart is better off in arz, he has better WR's, and great RB, and is close to california.

Reel poor, we didn't want to give up our second rounder, and the Lions demanded it, so we told em to pound salt...

    good for the F/O.

I'm remembering names. I gaurantee every person criticizing Leinart now will be the ones criticizing the Jets FO for passing on a pro bowl QB 5 years from now..
