CJ is very shifty. He can slide through a tiny crack in the line and he's gone. That's why he can drive you crazy because he's always tippy toeing looking for that tiny seam to slip through. We need to give him plays that play to this strength. Ivory and Powell are our guys to pound the rock. I think having CJ is a huge improvement for our offense, just gotta utilize the weapons the right way.
Did you not see CJ get chased down from behind on a swing pass by a freaking DT? This guy looked SLOW in Green bay. Powell played quicker then him for gods sake.
Sproles' best days were supposed to be behind him too, that's why the Saints gave him up for nothing to another playoff team in their conference.
The bigger question is why aren't we using Sanders in a similar way to the way the Falcons are using Hester,I wouldn't mind an end a round play ,instead of Vick coming in at WR for a loss of 3
no offense but this thread displays a real lack of football knowledge. It's a different system, a different supporting cast, different and an entirely different set of circumstances. If CJ were in Philly he wouldn't be used in the Sproles role. You can't just pick a guy from another team and think it would translate directly to a player here. They are using CJ properly.
in all reality i could have at least gotten a first down with that hole. 0 moves required all backs but trich take that run a long way.
