The Christmas miracle would be the Packers beating the Dolphins. I'll actually get excited if that happens because then we would just need the Dolphins to beat the Pats next week and we enter Seattle at 4 pm controlling our destiny.
Yeah... we really need to figure out how to win those type of games. This season is a disappointment. When Breece Hall went down I knew it was gonna be an uphill battle... especially with Zach under center.
I think the Jets should tank the last two. They're going to need every bit of draft capital they can get to make a splash move to get a QB. Going 7-10 as opposed to 9-8 might give them a much better pick that can be a real bargaining chip in trade.....
we couldn’t beat that team once? The one who keeps stepping on their own toes to lose games. Wait yeah we def could of beat them at least once if not twice if we had a HC with a set of balls
For me, and I think the general consensus, was that the Jets screwed Darnold. He may not have been as talented as he should have been where he was picked, but the Jets never surrounded him with any talent on the offensive side of the ball. I'm glad he's having success, seems like a good dude.
I'll be pleasantly shocked if we make it now. Playing in Seattle is difficult no matter what kind of team they have and the Dolphins will have revenge on their minds as well as a playoff spot to fight for the following week.
A left tackle or a pass rusher would also work. If we want to win now we need to get a veteran QB and use our first rounder on something else.
I have been singing that song before Thursday game. Play to lose. Coaching staff can make this happen
I 100% disagree with any mention of tanking. It is a long shot, but making the playoffs and getting the young guys like Sauce, Garrett, Moore and vets like Quinnen a taste of the playoffs and that experience is 10 times more valuable then a few spots in the middle of the first round. Also if Saleh is here for the long haul getting him that playoff expertise as HC is also big. Teams usually take small steps and need to make playoffs and gain experience before making serious runs.
I think we are dead, there's no way we are making the playoffs this year. But didn't the coach said we are going to see the Buffalo Bills again during the post game interview?
lots of things fell into place today for us today. if we win the next 2 games and the phins lose tomorrow we are golden. who am I kidding today just set us up for heartbreak ... again
Phins have to lose vs GB or NE. I highly doubt we'll win our last two games but I can't see them losing to either one of those teams.
Sam got no weapons, no protection, shitty coaching, and still remained claasy throughout. If any quarterback was screwed by the Jets, it was Sam.
Everything basically broke right for the Jets on Saturday. Now we just need the Dolphins to lose today and win next week OR Dolphins win next week and Patriots lose week 18 to the Bills. Hopefully the Packers win today. Would like nothing more than to enter the Seattle game knowing the Jets control their own destiny. Don't care what anyone says but the Seahawks are reeling to and if the Phins lose today they will have lost 4 straight. Both games winnable.
