I figured out why you are still here.

Michael Sam in, Tim Tebow, Vince Young out at 1st-ever veteran combine

Tim Tebow finally knows how to throw spiral, but he won't get to show off his new skill at the NFL's first-ever veteran combine on March 22 -- because he wasn't invited.

The NFL released a list of players who have been invited to the combine on Wednesday and Tebow's name was nowhere to be found.

Tebow's quarterback coach, Tom House, had said last week that Tebow's been working hard over the past two years to possibly make a return to the NFL.

"He went from being a little inaccurate and didn't throw a whole lot of spirals, to throwing very accurate and real good at spinning the ball," House said.

House also serves as the quarterback coach for Tom Brady.

Although Tebow won't be in attendance at the combine, Michael Sam will be there.

The seventh-round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft is one of several notable players who are expected to be in attendance at the Cardinals' practice facility when the combine kicks off on March 22.

Sam will be taking a break from 'Dancing with the Stars' to attend the event. The ABC show is set to premiere on March 16, just six days before the veteran combine.

Among the other notable players set to attend are running backs Felix Jones, Mikel Leshoure and Michael Bush, along with former first round picks Jamaal Anderson (No. 8 overall pick to Atlanta in 2007) and Adam Carriker (No. 13 overall pick to St. Louis in 2007).

One player who won't be at the combine (Besides Tebow): Vince Young. It was reported in February that Young had been invited, but he wasn't on the NFL's official list, which you can see below.

I still think we have to take him. Bowels has built a team that can compete immediately but it still doesn't solve the long term plan. Gotta take Mariota and sit him.

Agreed. So if you are Mac are you on the phone to see if Tenn, Wash, TB or two other Teams have no interest in him? Their presence at his Pro Day belies what they might tell him. Looking at his proactive and fairly aggressive moves, Macagnan doesn't strike me as someone who trades down but up. Unlike Idzik Mac will be fielding offers to those teams ahead of us before or during draft. Getting a Drew Bree's may or may not affect things. That's what he workin on getting MM and Bree's. (Please)

I said it in the other thread, if it's a day 2 pick I do the trade for Brees. But I don't swap 1sts.

I think you still have to take Mariota. And move up if need be.

I don't either, and I totally agree with you, but that said, for the Jets' sake, I'm going to hope that he will stay healthy for at least 2, if not 4 more years and play at a HOF level.

If Mariota is not available you have to look at a guy like Beasley. After watching some tape I love how explosive he is. He's not a workout warrior either as he has produced. Does it bring up some Gholston comparisons, sure but I don't think they compare. This guy will see so few double teams and he can use his athletisicm to beat the OTs and would compliment this defense nicely.

Yep. I think Vic Beasley is the best pass rusher in this draft. I honestly expect him to be gone before the 6, though.
