    Nationals win, 3-0

Did anyone hear the fans chanting for Michael Kay in the 9th?

This was fucking pathetic tonight. Just pathetic. Joba sucked big donkey balls tonight. But our offense sucked even worse.

Um, is it too soon to discuss the next choices for Yankees manager? Because this team ain't making the playoffs. Why does every other team's rookie pitchers --even the f'n Nats-- look like Dennis Eckersley against the Yankees? Why does the "powerful" Yankees' lineup look like crap against these guys? And the coaches --Long, Eiland (hey, I just got that:))-- WTF are they doing to fix this? Joba to the bullpen, now! Hughes in the rotation, now! Pray that Wang can pitch.

The Yankees are leaderless. If the Nationals can do this to the Yankees, you think Boston is laughing their asses off right now?

Man, I always forget how unbearable the Jets fan/Yankee fan combo can be.

The sense of entitlement from past Yankee success, plus the years of practice of whining as a Jets fan. It's an unstoppable force.

And the Yanks are lucky they weren't swept due to Elijah Dukes gaffe in Center. Whatever...This team once again is missing "something." I'm baffled at how no-name pitchers seem to dominate the Yanks for so long. AT HOME with this lineup?

Disgusting performance. Two bums shut us down in our own barn... The equivalent of showering in vomit.

were supposed to be happy with this? Sometimes i just don't get you, man. losing to a shit team at home,is going to draw complaining...and it's justified big time.

I think he means our already apparent complaining skills coupled with the expectation of winning make the Jet/Yankee fan the most bitter, unsatisfied individual ever assembled.

Actually, as of the end of May, over the last 2 seasons the Yankees have gone 18-3 when facing rookie pitchers for the first time. It may seem like the Yankees get beaten by other bad pitchers all the time, but the majority of the time they pummel them and you just don't realize it because you expect it.
