Clemens had the two sacks on him after being put in during a "we've already lost the game" decision. Chad's the one with: 2 Sacks 2 Interceptions 13 Incompletions 5.2 Yards per completion average 1 Fumble The sacks on Chad really aren't the problem. It's all of it put together. We're a passing team that kept trying to run the ball to keep Chad from maintaining his dismal performance. I like Chad a lot. But, the reason we lost the game was on Chad.
What is the semantic difference? OK, technically, soley really means only; primary means he is the leading contributor, but had help from the rest of the team. I still disagree. The D gave up some huge plays that were very costly again. McGahee owned us again. D'Brick screwed up on blocking quite a bit.
were a pass happy team. and chad didnt throw one good pass after the 1st qt.. the defense got tired. this is what happens when ur offense is going 3 and out. chad gets a ton of credit when we win.. but he was bad yesterday and he even knows that and says it.
the reason I voted YES, is not just the interceptions or fumbles - it goes to the point we were discussing before last week's game. Chad Pennington needs to be nearly PERFECT for the Jets to win football games. When he is close, they win. When he is good or average, they lose. Contrast that to a guy like Eli Manning with the Giants, or how Elway was - and you see the difference. What Troy Aikman said about Manning and Elway was - "he can throw a bunch of bad passes, but then he comes up with a big play and kills you..." Well, Chad cannot do that, unless he has a bionic arm surgically attached. I said this before he got hurt, or we knew he was hurt - teams (are learning) have learned that you can play tight on the Jets and Pennington cannot hurt you deep. It was the same thing against the Bears. Even with the running game starting to work, when Chad had to pass, it was "give up" the ship. I love Chad, but the Jets will only go so far with a gimpy armed QB no matter how brilliantly he runs the offense.
Yah, We kept on calling plays that Chad was a part of. ....Which sounds like I hate Chad. I want Chad to at least not lose the game for us.

The big plays early killed us and that first pick for a td kind of sealed it. We aren't going to win games though when chad has 3 turnovers, and it was pathetic that we didnt score a single point in the second half on our comeback attempt
Just saw the Chad interview. He's looking better then I've seen him for awhile. Maybe it's the stress of people depending on him. He could just win the next one. Damnit.. I will not get my hopes up until he can show he wants to win by the way he plays.
Why do we have to support a Qb that has to have a perfect game played by our defense for him to have a chance to win? When is Chad going to step up when we get behind and rally us back to win a game. We can't even come back v.s Bills.
