Please note my sentiments when we hired yet another coordinator rookie HC. Everyone trashed me, b/c I said it would be par for the course. I mean, what do people expect?
If you take the points at the beginning of the 4th quarter you are not forced to go for it with 3 minutes left
I am so close to just stop following football altogether. This game was a prime example of it. Thursday night games are a joke as everyone is still beat up from Sunday. The stupid jerseys looked like we were playing a game on Christmas. Oh not to mention the Jets look lost again this year despite sinking a lot of money into a new team.
Bowles has made some questionable decisions like most coaches do, but he needs to show me more. This offense is a shitshow. Our qb situation is just bad. Fitzpatrick is not a come from behind qb. We lose a lead by a couple scores we lose the game. The drops are killing this team, and we desperately need speed at the rb position.Defense the field on 3rd downs anymore and the turnovers are killing this team. So its not all coaching, its execution too. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
I'm glad they went for it on 4th down...but they had no reason for it to BE 4th down. Gailey is such a pussy he didn't even make a call for a throw into the end zone until 4th down. I HATE watching teams lose like this. Now I know how the Seahawks fans felt after last Super Bowl.
Which is kind of hard to do, considering Rex is an absolute idiot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
lucky we beat the Jags a game we should of lost, this team is bad its that simple. Tons of money spent for no reason
I wish Bowles' expertise was offense. Some of the plays made no sense. Going for those 1 yard gains was just ridiculous... I hope he learns from this....
We should have hired an offensive coach but Bowles' D played well and stopped Tyrod from doing anything for most of the game. Fitz is the problem, not Bowles. Though we had some drops, every team has drops. The problem with the anemic short offensive game is that one drop puts the team in a hole. QBs that throw farther can get all of their losses back in one throw. Fitz doesn't do that often enough (because he can't). That's why game managers don't win Superbowls. They need to make too many throws to keep a drive alive.
T That was a big one. If your gonna play off at least be around the marker so you can at least contest the first down effort. At the most crucial point in the game Revis don't got heart.
Not at all. I was screaming at the TV take the points. Screaming. The Bills went 3 and out on their last 4 drives. You kick the FG. You have 3 TOs and the two minute warning. The Bills can get 2 first downs maybe three and you might still gets the ball back. Its football 101 and not even a discussion.
We were in the game until the end but the teams that are beating us close (Eagles, Patsies, Raiders, Bills) are the teams we need to beat if we want to make any noise in the post-season. Injuries or not, we need to make the big plays at crunch time and stop making big mistakes. Coaching will only do so much if the players fail to execute.
I really like Revis but he's not worth the money we gave him. Still a very effective CB but nowhere near the player he was in his prime in 2009-10. The best part of his game - his physicality at the line of scrimmage - is now gone. He never disrupts the WR's routes anymore.
Well then how come no one is blaming Bowles for the same shit that Rex got blamed for? From what Ive seen from Bowles , he's inferior to Rex in terms of being a defensive mind and he's just about as horrible on the offensive side of the ball.
