OK - but putting one comment in one thread about the guy as many of the people you pointed out in your comment did isn't really a "man crush". I know there were a couple of people that were a little obsessed but don't throw us all in that basket. Now if you wanna start talking about leon washington, that's another story.
WTF FITM? What do you think this is? Some kind of discussion board where we can talk about topics affecting our team? The kind where we can talk about them both before AND after the events? And how dare you back up your post with quotes? What were you thinking? From now on, we should just talk about how cool our players are. That should keep this from happening again.
His post had no substance whatsoever. It was just him pointing out all the people that were wrong. What do you think about it? I assume that's why you come to this message board right? So you have a medium to place in your own input... or is it so you can pull up quotes to make someone look foolish? Oh and whoever made the Mercedes comment that got a good chuckle out of me.
I for one applaud FITM for his services. I was going to say that everyone who was drooling over this guy should fess up. I think this also shows how much more coaching staffs know about player evaluation than we might have suspected. Even with all of those sparkling combine numbers, who would have thought to check for stamina? InChadWeTrust, chill out. We're just having a some fun. There's absolutely NOTHING else to do right now in the offseason. It's another couple of weeks before June 1st cuts, then training camp, then nothing until preseason. It's not like FITM was saying "L00k at teh stooopid n00bs! PWND!" All he did was point out all of the people that were saying we should draft him. I think some of the more outlandish claims ("Let's draft him in the 4th or 5th!") definitely needed to be called out. Whoever was really pushing for us to draft him (early especially) needs to step up and eat their share of crow. Either way, you guys need to stop being so defensive - we're all friends here. Getting back on topic, I still think it's hilarious that people were calling for us to draft a guy (not to mention all of the newspaper articles that were written about him) who went undrafted, and was cut 12 minutes into camp.
"This post would have a lot more value if you posted it before the draft." Why would I lie about going to school with him and know (or at least have a damn good idea) that he would be a bust. Like I said I don't have enough posts to create my own thread and at the time I wasn't even registered to make posts I would just lurk. Whatever, believe me or don't believe me I could care less.
