We could have lined up a pilon in his place and there would not have been any dropoff. The question is, how much better is the DL is going to be with someone in his place who can play in the NFL?

I think you guys are being a tad harsh on Kimo. IF I remember correctly, he was brought in to teach the younger guys the 3-4.

I said IF guys, don't rip me a new one.

I thought he was brought in to show guys how to land safely when they get pancaked by an offensive tackle.

He was paid very well and started because he was supposed to be an NFL caliber DE, better than average based on the salary he got. I don't think they would pay someone 2 million just to teach the younger guys.

Nice keep picking on the great locker presence that is Kimo. Yuck it up buddy.

He was good for at least 2-3 wins alone last year. The way he pumped up his team mates during halftime will not be forgotten.

PF, you are correct about Kimo. That said, Bobby Hamilton is also capable of doing that for like 1/3 of the cost. With Kimo's lack of production, the move was a no-brainer.

Kimo was a pretty big disappointment, but for a bit player, he got a lot of abuse.
