Grossman took a team with a GREAT defense and great running attack in the extremely weak NFC to the Superbowl. We were supposed to be 4-12 and went to 10-6. I don't understand how you can even compare the two. Grossman didn't lead his team to the Superbowl. The defense, devin hester, and the running game led that team to the Superbowl. And you saw what happneed once he got there. He was stumbling around the field trying to pick up the ball and the few times he had a chance to win the game he threw the ball to the Colts. There is no comparison here.
We were supposed to be 4-12 with a shitty coach and no players. What we wound up with was a really good coach, and quite a few (some returning) solid players. We could have won a few more games than we did, but yeah we really weren't all that talented. Still, we aren't nearly as bad as a 4-12 team. I think our defense actually finished 6th in points allowed, so it's not like we had a crap defense or anything.
Thanks for the input S-I-X  Anyway, looks like he had his usual under 50% completion percentage and 1 INT. Not bad.
<<Grossman took a team with a GREAT defense and great running attack in the extremely weak NFC to the Superbowl>> Agreed. The Bears won despite Grossman in quite a few games. He will get better with experience, but was clearly being carried by his team.
I was kind of surprised that Vince Young made the Pro Bowl. He is the first rookie since 1983 to make it, I am guessing that was Marino back then. Heck, Roethlisberger did not make it as a rookie and did not lose a game during the regular season.
For Roethlisberger, he was behind Manning, Brees, and Brady, all had much better seasons. For Young, he was the 5th choice. Obviously the 3 of Manning, Palmer, and Rivers. But Brady was the alternate when Rivers pulled out and he declined, so THEN it went to Young...I would of given it to McNair over Young though.
