your crazy. I agree about the O-line and players like Pac Man contributing alot. But Young will be what Vick shouldve been. Young is a much better passer than Vick. plain and simple. only time will tell but Ive been on Youngs bandwagon since college.
It's safe to say that everyone outside of Ny thinks Pennington is on the Level of Rex Grossman. Only Jet fans would try to raise a Mediocre Qb to Allpro status!
What past? The only year he was decent was 2002 and he really was NOT that good! Look at his record and you will see what I mean. The guy is vastly overrated!

Chad this year was a less extreme Rex Grossman, just look at his numbers during our losses, Grossman is also a moron when it comes to decision making.
I am with you 100%. I think people who are bashing Young might be doing so out of jealousy. The turnaround for that team after Young took over was remarkable. Young has shown that he is a big game player. The comparisons to Vick are amazing as Young has already shown that he is a better more patient passer. What is scary is that he is still developing as a passer. Anyone who wouldnt trade Chad for Young is seriously deluding themselves.
Well said... there is NO COMPARRISON between Vick and VY... Vick is a moron off the field, VY is the type of person to build a team around, VY works hard to get better, Vick is a slacker in practice, VY is an intimidating physical presence, Vick is barely six feet, VY is a PROVEN big game player, Vick sucks in the big game and blames his teammates... you can go on and on... No one will remember Michael Vick for more than the police blotter in 20 years... VY will go down as one of the topw 20 QBs to ever play the game... mark my words... VY's game MUCH more closely resembles that of a young John Elway than Michael Vick...
all i can say is chad performed well coming off his injuries and not to mention the new coach and new system. cant wait to see chad lead us deep in the playoff's next year and also see young have another 8-8 season.
CHADWICK has trouble beating teams with good to very good defenses. as such, our schedule is much harder this year. More teams that we face will have good defenses. While I doubt CHADS ability to win against teams like that, I hope he proves me wrong and we go to the SUPER BOWL!( pinch me, I want to wake up). Could you see CHADWICK playing in the MIAMI rain and wind and leading us to a SB win against a tough defense that does not fear his arm? They would clog the rushing lanes and force him to throw the out pass or deep. That would be an adventure!
you fail to mention the soft schedule. and the fact that he only beat 1 team over .500. and the fact is that 1 team he beat still beat him twice this year.. look im not bashing chad ethier but jet fans really overate him like he is some elite qb.. when in reality he isnt.
It is amazing that people do not realize we beat a bunch of tomato cans and got stomped by every good team we played except the Patriots that we beat in a Mudbowl. Under Normal Circumstances they beat us in that game as well.
i've said it before that chad works well with what he has available on offense and he took us to the playoffs. vince, well what did he do with what he had to his disposal, nothing. even though he had a couple of nice comebacks, vince has a long way to go to be even labled a playoff qb.
But GROSSMAN went to a SUPER BOWL as a player while CHAD had to buy a ticket to get in, as usual! Did GROSSMAN's team get shutout twice this season? They played and BEAT all the better teams they had to beat! We beat 1 team with a .500 record and promptly lost to them again!
Sorry, not a VY hater at all. Yea, it's cool that they started winning when he came, but again...so did the Falcons with Vick. It all depends if Young develops as a passer, and right now I can't say yes or no on that but from many players like him, I lean towards no. He's a beast, a great guy and so on, but he's not a very good QB right now. And to credit him and ONLY HIM for the Titans turnaround is ridiculous.
Well in this stretch he beat 3 playoff teams and jags who destroyed us.. chad didnt so take it as you want it.
