There is no pick we need at up #3. That #3 pick is basically for anyone who wants RG3. Some team will trade up to get him.
this thread is stupid. without speculation of who we would pick and why that player would be worth it, what it is essentially asking is would he arbitrarily trade up just for the sake of trading up for a better pick and then figure out who to take later. why would he do that? trading up to the 5th spot for a franchise QB when the team had no QB makes sense when trying to build a team. QB is kind of important. because he traded up for a franchise QB doesn't mean he would trade up again (other than for a shot at another QB) so the question is meaningless. the team isn't rebuilding and looking for a cornerstone player to do so around which would be worth trading away additional picks and players for. and the team certainly isn't missing one player at a single key position that would be worth trading away picks and other players for, so it doesn't make sense to trade up for that reason.
I've seen these charts before and all they are are predictions or best guesses. The formula the NFL uses to calculate comp picks is very complicated (salary, impact to new team, etc.) and these prediction charts have been way off in the past. Better to wait until March for accurate info.
here lazy ass...I bet you could have found it in 20 seconds like I did. http://forums.theganggreen.com/showthread.php?t=70294&highlight=comp+picks and the fourth looks like Coleman
No, but Tanny MIGHT say this to Rex: "We're not picking that defensive player you want because I'm probably gonna have to fire you in 6 months anyway, so I'm getting coach Sparano a new QB instead"
I don't know why I'm replying to you since you seem to have gotten your ass banned but I don't think anybody is banking hopes or anything else on this. I said somebody posted a well thought out comp pick list which will probably be close to what the picks are. You doubted it and I gave you the link..that seemed to trouble you even more..oh well.
@Roger Vick : QFT. I'm surprised no one paid *ANY* attention to this 'cause it's true. At least in my opnion...
Blackmon looked almost as elite as a WR prospect as Luck looked a QB won and JB got the win in the Fiesta Bowl. I'd give our first, second and hell even next years second for Blackmon. If they think they can resurrect Holmes career and take less picks and him that'd be even better
You guys dont see what we can do trade 1st, 2nd and next year 2nd and 4th to Minny for #3 trade Mark to Washington for #7- they get their QB trade #7 for Cincinnati #17 and #21- they get Richardson #3- Robert Griffin III #17- Michael Floyd #21- Whitney Mercilus its brilliant
WOW!!!!!!!!!! The Beta copy of Madden '13 is out? I'd take a proven NFL commodity that survived 3 years with an OC with a -10pts QBR (compared to other QBs historical average) rating against ANY prospect coming out of college. We know RG3 aint probably aint Peyton or Brady or Montana. He Probably aint Ryan Leaf either. That puts him as an unproven, who MAY be in the same class as what we already have, minus the experience.
