The Vikings have become a laughing stock in one year. Proof that shit rolls down hill.

I don't know if his actions are defendable, he acted like an ass after the loss. He was pissed that according to him his coaches and teammates refused to listen to him on what the Pats like to do. I will say that him going to media with his dirty laundry is nothing new but honestly the Vikes should have been happy that he took the story out of this game instead of Favre getting KO'd. That team was a sinking ship and Moss obviously wasn't going to help right it. I'm not sure cutting him is the right answer because you gave up a 3rd round pick plus the lockerroom already was split after the Favre debacle in the offseason, now your just going to make those guys even less confident in you as a coaching staff. I just think regardless of how bad things are you can't cut the guy.

I read this morning that Zygi isn't happy with this so maybe Childress and Favre will be shown the door at years end and maybe just maybe Leslie Frazier will get the shot he deserves.

The more I think about it the more I think if the oppurtunity is there the Pats don't sign him. Maybe it's me but this offense seems much more in sync without him there. They look like the Pre-Moss Pats ie; the team that won 3 SBs which is scary. Their running game is still shitty but when you have Brady firing on all cylinders you don't really need to be great. I still think should he make it that far Green Bay is a great fit for a rental. I just wonder what happens if say the Bills claim him and he says fuck it I'm not going to Buffalo.

I agree with you about the Pats, and Woodhead is a perfect example of their tendency in those years to get great production out of apparent nobodies.

As far as the bolded line above goes, I'd be shocked if the Bills claimed him; it only makes sense for a team that is close to being a winner to touch him, since he wouldn't stay anyway and would provide nothing to a bad team. If it happened, however, I'd be thrilled, since Moss would have no choice but to show up or sit out and not get paid. It would be pretty funny of the GM of some lousy team did that just because he didn't like Moss and wanted to stick it to him, but I imagine that there's no NFL owner stupid enough to want to go along with that.

Randy Moss should be worth a compensatory pick in next year's draft. The question to an owner/Gm is, "Is the comp pick I'll get for Randy worth $3.2M?"

Kenny Britt may be screwed up, so Titans could look. Doubt he gets there though

The Jets absolutely need to put in a claim for the block. In the even he falls to us then we have to use him. Its worth the luxury tax going over the cap, the compensatory pick, and Moss' knowledge of the Pats system.

Please it may prevent a team like the Colts or Pitt from picking him up. That would fuck this team.

Why are you so scared of Moss? Don't you remember the Jets slapping the Pasts around when they had him? Luxury tax, huh? This guy doesn't give a shit about team, he only cares about himself. I don't want him anywhere near the Jets.

    This.

Moss can run the GO route up the seam.....that's it. If he actually ran routes and put in an effort...then the fear would be justified.

And yes....I don't want to see him in Green/White.

Good point. An interesting question is then whether the team gets the pick if Moss refuses to show up, so they never actually pay him. With Moss you actually have to think about such things.

I think he's going west. The Chiefs or Seahawks seem more likely to me than the Rams.

Right, so he would show up on the "Reserved, Did not report list." In that case he would not get paid. Not sure how the league would handle that for compensatory picks. If I'm running the show I give em one, but obviously I'm not King of the NFL.

If Zygi dosen't clean hosue in Minny, my god. I feel sorry for those fans this year. Jackson isn't a terrible option, and frankly, he was probly a better option than Favre this year. Fuck the streak, if Childress wants even a remote shot at keeping his job, he should bench Bretts ass. but he's a bitch and he won't do that.

This whole situation is hilarious, after only 4 games they're already sick of him again and reminded why they traded him to Oakland in the first place.
