LOL so if Moss ends up not being cut they may as well fire Tobias now since he'll have 0 cred in the locker room.

Well his agent realeased a statement earlier with the same old "were moving on" bullshit so its probably just a paperwork lag, itll be official tommorow.

I don't really care where Moss ends up....in fact, I would laugh if he ended up on a team that's still on the Jets schedule.....just as long as he doesn't become a Patriot or a Colt.

Moss is lethal with an elite QB.....he's garbage otherwise, because of his attitude.

that's because people draw conclusions first without actually thinking about what it would entail to reach that conclusion.

I was just about to type something similar.

If he winds up back in NE...hats off to NE, this will be one of the best "capers" ever (even if unintentional).

They asked Rex on 1050 if the Jets are interested and Rex declined to comment. So by my own assumption, I'd say if he drops down waivers to the Jets they claim him to prevent him from going to NE.

They don't call team to team to see if you want a player.
He gets put on waivers, teams either make a claim or don't, and then the next day the league lets everyone know if he was taken.

I personally think Moss just wants to keep playing against the Jets, in the hopes that one day Revis will take back the slouch comment.

Because waivers don't apply to vested veterans except for the weeks between the trade deadline and the end of the calendar year.

If we don't put in a claim and he ends up back in NE, I don't even know...

    *shakes head*

So, Chilly really wants to get fired, eh?

I don't see how you put the cat back in the bag with a player like Moss and a lockerroom ready to revolt.

the more i think about moss the more i want him

sure he crowds an already crowded recieving corps but the upside is too good

the jets have had no vertical passing game at all this yr and moss can go deep with the best of them

start braylon and moss and put holmes in the slot

we can also start using more 3 and 4 wideout sets to get everyone on the field

another bonus is since he wont be resigned we will get a fa compensation pick for losing him prolly a 3rd or 4th rounder

and at worst if he is a cancer we cut him like everyone else has

u also keep him away from NE by claiming him

I'm pretty apathetic towards the whole thing. If we somehow get him, cool. He'll run 1 route every time he's in but it'll be good enough to take his corner and a safety 50 yards down field opening up space underneath for our other guys to make plays.

If we don't it's no big deal because then NE wouldn't get him back so it'll be a win regardless

Before we ever get him he will end up in a Dolfag uniform...It sucks though because fins have higher waiver claim then Bears who are right next behind them...Bears would be dying to have him

When I said the contempt for Moss, I meant the pointing out of his being a slouch and his lack of effort. No respect among the players on this team. JT may have been hated by the fans, but not for his lack of effort.

All Randy Moss runs nowadays are those half-assed double move fake-hitch/curl/et al go routes, and again, he half asses them the entire time. I don't really care who he goes to.
