So now getting back on topic after the great interlude. I think Vick would work in Buffalo. What the hell else are they going to do? Is Edwards ever going to be the answer?

Well, that's just like, your opinion, man.

Subtracting the Madden reference I obviously did that because I also feel Edwards isn't the answer. His contract isn't really a big deal and he's a free agent in two years so I doubt they'd cut ties with him this year, but it's not like Fitzpatrick is going to be a guy to carry the team either.

Vick would at least offer the dual threat capabilities they haven't had since Flutie. He may not be as fast or dangerous as he used to be, but with the inexperienced O-line the Bills have they need someone that can move.

it would certainly make buffalo more interesting with TO already there. no o-line, a qb with a history of running it when he doesn't see anything (whether or not that was a good read is irrlevant) TO could kill that locker room by mid year.

as a side note, madden is hardly a simulation.

That's if they keep T.O., but I'm sure you've noticed that because he's on a terrible team he's actually quieted down for once. He seems to spend most of his time on twitter now.

Also, I did say people feel it fails (and I do too in some regards, but that's why I handle all transactions based on the trends of the real NFL)...but in all fairness no one has ever pulled off a true football simulation game. Quick Hit Football, the free PC browser thing, is the closest thus far.

I wouldn't be sold on Edwards either. He has never been overly impressive, just a game manager at best so far in his career. I do think he could at lest be a good bench guy even a spot starter. Do they sit and hope he develops more or take a chance on a once exciting QB? Well they took a chance on Owens so anything is possible, and that would help them sell some tickets. Not sure how many wins it would garner though.

Haven't I suffered enough Ralph? Apparently Dungy doesn't think so.
