Well Buffalo drafted Kevin Everett in the 2nd round last year so I dont know that theyd be interested in a TE this year. I could see Detroit doing it after picking WR 3 years running, but that would just confirm how big a joke their franchise is. And people keep mentioning St Louis but IMO theyre stacked on offense and dont need him, but out of the 3 it makes the most sense for them IMO
Did Everett blow out his knee last year?? Wasn't he injured in some way.. I can't remember. If he was, what was the injury..just curious
Aside to all his outstanding measurables, he's extra special due to his versatility. He can fulfill the standard TE assignements (although his blocking still isn't that great), he can play fullback/H-back and be very successfully utilized the way Richie Anderson was in his pass catching heyday or he can line up as a WR on the line or slot. He would create endless matchup nightmares for DBs.
hmm...i wonder how his rehab has been coming along. You're right, if he's healthy they don't need another TE. I think Everett's gonna be a good one.
In my opinion he has always been a top 10 prospect, he just needed to find a team willing to take him. Perhaps Arizona?
I don't see him going to the Jets if for no other reason than he plays tight end. Tight end seems like a luxury pick to me. We have too many other pressing needs at key positions to worry about who our tight end is right now.
