They are offseason wins. They are the two-time defending offseason champions. Until they start winning during those "unimportant" months of football (Sept - Dec) they won't get the benefit of the doubt from me. On the paper this roster looks good but looking good on paper means nothing.
This is exactly how I feel about this franchise. Well said. They don't deserve even the slightest benefit of the doubt. It's a shame that the league isn't judged by what happens in the offseason. If it were, then we'd be one of the all-time great franchises.
The projection would be more interesting if it went into more detail. What was the Jets path to the SB as the #2 seed? Obviously they host the Browns at #7 in the first round. Do they go into KC for the AFC Championship and pull off the upset? Or is KC knocked out in an earlier round? Either way the only path to a Super Bowl in reality is overall team health and some good bounces. As of this moment the Jets have enough talent to get there.
You haven't been a fan long enough to what a lot of us have been through. I have been a fan for over 40 years. Jets will find a way to fuck it up. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
Obviously not. Otherwise they would know that it takes Saleh, at his absolute best, almost two complete seasons to reach the number of wins that they have predicted for the Jets.
