I would not be surprised if we have a new coach by Wednesday with the days in-between just ironing out details. The question is whether Joe Douglas wants a CEO type HC so that Douglas can sit back and do his job without worrying about setting the Jets tone or whether he wants a guy who is pure coach but will lean on the GM for the big decisions. It's going to be really interesting to see which way Douglas goes. If he's Ravens to the core we're going to get a guy who strikes out in a positive direction and relies on Douglas for a pipeline of talent to keep the show going.

Not sure if this has been pointed out already, but Fields never played for Meyer. This is a bullshit narrative designed to get people to remain interested. Lawrence is going one, Meyer or no Meyer.
I'm sure the Khan's have told Meyer he can have the job but that they are taking Trevor. For all we know, Meyer may prefer Trevor anyway.
I dont see Urban Meyer taking this job if this is the case. Khan probably wants Trevor for revenue purposes
