Urban Meyer meeting with Jacksonville today

    How's this Jets related? Another Jaguars thread on the main Jets forum!

    Seriously though, I think the Jaguars will succeed with Meyer. You have Lawrence, you have plenty of cap space and draft picks. It is like the Jets situation but better. Plus the AFC South is usually wide open. Texans, Titans, Colts and Jaguars rotate who is good. Unlike the AFC East which was the Patriots for 20 years and now instantly the Bills look really good.

    I believe they're going to sign him. I don't think it's a good move though. Meyer is a great college coach because of the way he rode momentum the correct way in college. Obviously he's a good CFB offensive mind as well but I just don't see him easily making the transition. One of those guys that's tailor made for the NCAA.

    Let’s just hope he is his over confident self and tries to look smart and takes Fields. It literally would be a dream come true!

    I think he'd trade the pick for 4 million first round picks before he'd do that honestly.

    But I doubt they do anything but take Lawrence. Khan's been running his hands together about the profit pump.
