we have almost the exact same personnel on D as we had down the stretch and in the playoffs 2 years ago when we played great against SD and Pit. The major differences are we played a 4-3 and ferg was a DT w/ Dewayne but on the + side for the current team we have rhodes over Tongue and that's a big upgrade and we have Miller/Dyson over Abraham at CB. The bottom line is we have won w/o john Abraham before but we are playing a scheme not suited to the personnel we have.
