Idk. Pre JD yes but JD seems to at least be targeting the right areas of need/ value in the first 2 rounds. 2020: 1st rd OT. 2nd rd WR 2021: 1st rd QB, G. 2nd rd WR 2022: 1st rd CB, WR, DE. 2nd rd RB So I'm pretty confident one of the first two picks are gonna be OL. The other might be DL or LB or safety. And I'm ok with that.
If we come out of the first two rounds with AR, an OT in round 1, and either a C or DT in round 2, I’d be ecstatic I’m guessing one of our 2nd rounders is going to GB for Rodgers, with an additional conditional pick in 2024, and we may also be swapping 1st round 13 with GB’s 15 and drop two spots…I wonder if the holdup on a trade is depending on who’s available at 13…if it’s someone the Packers want, we swap picks and if the player they want isn’t there, we stay put and then maybe that impacts which 2nd round pick we give them…who knows at this point, but the fact that JD seems pretty confident, and that no one is really saying anything at all, gives me the feeling that they have a deal done in place but it depends on how the draft falls…
The Jets would be dumb to not take offensive line at 15. The Buccs signed Brady, drafted Wirfs and traded up to make sure they got him since they wanted to shore it up.
Yeah, didnt they JUST give him an extension? Maybe they caught him still printing "Mike F'n White" shirts....
Zzzzzzzz How ever will we replace the guy that gets there just too late to make the play but just in time to slap a hand on the ball carrier before he is down? And is quite often jawing in front of the ref after the ball is dead? I'd be fine with it if his game matched.
