LOL I was going to post a similar comment. When I read it initially, I thought my wife had posted the question ; ) She sees a team in new uni's and says "oh, they have new outfits! they'll play better" and you know what? She's right! Recent examples, TB Rays last year, The Jets in '98, Didn't the Buccaneers hit a SB soon after changing style to the pewter? Denver when they went to the horsehead look, how about the Rams going metallic gold etc...
I heard somewhere that home teams wear away jerseys at home early in the year because of the heat. The darker uniforms absorb more light from the sun making them hotter, so in theory it puts them at an advantage by wearing white. I haven't the slightest idea whether or not that's true, just heard it somewhere before.
It's true that teams do that, but I haven't seen evidence that it helps them any. Did it help the Texans last Sunday? The roof was closed too. Wouldn't be surprised to see us in white Sunday. I could give a sh*t green or white "tops" ; ) so long as we show up to kick ass. I am on record as being against the stupid half-assed Titans jerseys though.
