Maybe people inside the locker room are disgusted, but from the outside looking in, it looks good. Here's Maurice Jones-Drew on Twitter: "Man the new york jets are doing whatever it takes to win or did san diego get tired of their best defensive player?"
Just now on the FAN Mark Cannizzaro of the Post was saying he thought it was a really bad decision for the Jets to let TJ go. Why mess with the #1 rushing offense in the NFL. Plus Jones was a huge mentor to Sanchez particularly during some of the more devastating losses last season. Maybe Jones leg is worse than any of us know. Perhaps they pick up somebody else cheap along the way, but, they won't be Thomas Jones. Tannenbaum seems to make all the right moves, maybe he's got something else up his sleeve.
Faneca can and has been mentoring Sanchez after tough plays and losses. In the beginning of the year this board hated TJ because and LB would look at him and he would fall over. He started to come on later and then when Shonn started to play great TJ started to fizzle. I know TJ was injured, but for the money he was due I have no problem with it. TJ does have the advantage of the best line in football. I'm real curious to see how he plays if he winds up somewhere else.In his 148 game career he only fumbled 24 times and lost 13- That I will miss. AP fumbles 24 times on 1 quarter.
Awsome quyote from one of my favorite non Jets. I'm iffy on the Cro trade, but he fills a need and was not too costly, but this shows signs that the rest of the league has taken full notice of the "fucking Jets!"
